PARTICIPATION

The Granfondo Alpi del Mare – Mondovì is open to all ACSI, F.C.I members, and Sports Promotion Entities who have signed the agreement for the year 2025.
Each participant must have a valid medical certificate for competitive cycling; participants residing abroad must have a certificate according to the Model E.
For every participant, whether residing in Italy or abroad, the medical certificate must not expire before the day of the race.
Italian participants without any license must request a daily membership.
Foreign participants without a UCI license, by registering, self-certify that they have R.C. and accident insurance, making the daily membership not mandatory.
The event is open, but the Organizing Committee may at any time, at its sole discretion, decide whether to accept a registration or exclude a participant from the event if it could damage its image.
All participants are aware of the various risks to their physical safety and assume full responsibility for their participation in the race at their own risk.
Under all circumstances, cyclists must pay the utmost attention to road conditions, considering that the route is not closed to traffic for the entire duration of the event.
The event will follow the 2025 rules for national cycling tourism and amateur activities.
Referring to the UCI and FCI Regulations, paragraph 1.3.010 and 12.1.013 bis regarding technological fraud, the race jury, with the technical support of the organization, is authorized to perform random or systematic checks.
Non-compliance or refusal to undergo required technical checks will result in immediate disqualification and a report to the competent authorities.

CANCELATION OF THE RACE

The race will take place regardless of weather conditions unless there are specific cases that pose a serious risk to the safety of the competitors or in the case of natural disasters (and for reasons not attributable to the organization).
In this case, the participation fee will neither be refunded nor carried over to the following year.

CANCELLATION OF REGISTRATION

If a participant is unable to attend, the registration fee will not be refunded.
Upon communication no later than 8:00 PM on the Saturday before the race, the registration will remain valid for the next edition upon payment of a €10 administrative fee.

Solidarity Group: – €50 + €100 donation to the association – 100 registered
1st Group: €75 – 200 registered
2nd Group: in order of registration
3rd Group: in order of registration
4th Group: in order of registration
ATTENTION: it will not be possible to start in front of the mats. Those who do not have the mat times recorded at the start and along the course will be excluded from the rankings.

TIMEKEEPING

All Italian events timed by MySDAM, Krono Service, TDS, and Winning Time timers are managed with a single chip!
It will no longer be a problem to choose which type of chip to carry, as with a single one, you can race throughout the season.
For holders of Krono Service chips (red chip) and Winning Time chips (yellow chips and the Nove Colli edition), you only need to choose one, activate it, and use it freely in all races in Italy timed by the mentioned timers.
The activation and purchase of chips online must be done only through ENDU, while at the races, it will be possible to do so at the “Chip Point” near the race secretariat.

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

Ambulances with doctors and nurses will be available.

MECHANICAL ASSISTANCE

Mobile assistance will include cars and motorcycles for wheel changes.
Replacement parts will be at the expense of the assisted participant.
A broom service will be available for recovering cyclists and bicycles.
Private cars and motorcycles following the event are strictly prohibited. Otherwise, the entire team will be disqualified.

REFRESHMENTS

Refreshments will be available along the route as indicated in the race program.

ROAD CODE

Riders who are passed by the “end-of-race” vehicle are required to comply with the road code.

DAILY MEMBERSHIP

For those who do not have a valid ACSI, FCI, or CONI-recognized membership card, a daily membership can be obtained at a cost of €10.
The membership must be requested at the registration desk or race packet pickup, and it regularizes the athlete’s position from an insurance perspective.

DISQUALIFICATIONS AND PENALTIES

Disqualifications: participation with another rider’s bib, transferring the bib to others, starting in an earlier group than assigned, or other serious violations detected by the organization will result in exclusion from the rankings and disqualification from the event for two to five years.
Participants are asked to be civic-minded and not throw trash along the roads, but rather place it in the designated containers at the refreshment points.
In case of a positive result in doping and/or mechanical checks at the event, the competitor must pay the Organizing Committee €30,000 (thirty thousand) as compensation for the damage caused to the event’s image.

SIGNATURE

By submitting the registration form, the participant declares:

  • to have a medical certificate according to D.M. 18/02/82, under penalty of disqualification, the organization assumes no responsibility in case of any accident or illness of the athlete
  • to have a valid membership, registered with the Italian Cycling Federation or a recognized body
  • to have third-party liability insurance
  • to have read and understood this regulation.

The participant agrees to the use of their images and data, in accordance with Privacy Law no. 675 of 31/12/1996.
